Why Pakistan bans tiktok for the second time.

The Pakistani media regulator took the move on Thursday after the court ruled that there were videos of “unethical and immoral content” on the platform following the 10-day ban in October last year. Tiktok got banned in the country for having “immoral” and”indecent” videos, but the tiktok company assured the Pakistani government they would be regulated “in accordance with the laws of
Pakistan,” and tiktok resumed operations 10days later.

A High Court in the City of Peshawar ordered the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA), to ban the app despite having tens of millions of users in the country. PTA has issued directions to the service providers to immediately block access to the app. During the hearing of the case the Peshawar High Court has ordered the banning of the app in the country.

According to the Financial Times, Peshawar Chief Justice, Qaiser Rashid Khan has accused tiktok for hosting content that is unacceptable to the Pakistani society who majority of them are from the
Muslim Religion. He ordered the ban to take immediate effect during the hearing on Thursday 11th March.

World’s richest men Musk and Bezos unending woes

Jeff Bezos, the owner of Blue Origin, filed a complaint on Monday; this decision came about when NASA appointed Space X for a multi-billion-dollar contract. The contract was to transport humans to the moon. Space X belongs to Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos’s main competition. Musk has decided to respond to the complaint through social media.

Blue Origin’s accusations are many since they cover a whole 50 pages and they were presented to the government accountability office. The 50 pages contained accusations on NASA for moving goalposts for the companies campaigning for the $2.9 billion lunar lander contract to transport astronauts to the moon the earliest it can start is 2024 and the contract was handed to Space X.

Blue Origin accuses NASA of executing a flawed acquisition for the human landing program. They moved the goalposts in a last-minute rush to award the contract.

Blue origin had partnered with Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Draper in a move to design the space ship in the hope of winning the contract and this is proved by the statement they gave people ‘ in NASA own words it has made a high-risk selection .’

Blue origin and its partners have stated that NASA’s decision to award the contract to Space X has many negative impacts. It has discouraged opportunity for competition ,narrowed supply base that leads to delays .And lastly endangers Americas visit to the moon ; which was the main reason they filed the complaint with GAO.
